This Saturday from 5:00-11:00 is the Tuesday Night Project benefit party. It’s definitely a cause worth supporting and checking out. Bambu and Rocky Rivera (with DJ Roza), among several other local artists, are scheduled to perform sometime between 6:30-9:30. Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for students/seniors. Keep in mind this event is a fundraiser to help keep the Tuesday Night Project running. Check out their webpage for more info.
Initially, this post was called “The Park’s Finest BBQ + Tuesday Night Cafe = Gastroentertainment Symbiosis,” but I wasn’t sure anyone was going to search for “Gastroentertainment”. “Bucket of Awesome,” however, is a different story.
Recently, the WE eatz team had the pleasure to attend a blogger night hosted by Tuesday Night Project, the organization responsible for the longest-running free public art series in Los Angeles: Tuesday Night Cafe. So we, along with other representatives of the blogosphere such as 8Asians, Gourmet Pigs, Channel APA and flavorpill LA zoomed over to Little Tokyo for some live comedy/tunes/poetry al fresco and grilled meat stylings from none other than The Park’s Finest BBQ! BBQ Catering… yes way.

What is the best (and possibly only) place to go in Los Angeles on a Tuesday?
Particularly if you are API and love amazing API performers?
Why, none other than the Tuesday Night Café – in Little Tokyo, at the Aratani Courtyard. Tuesday Night Café is an open mic and entertainment event that occurs the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month, for every season (except Winter, because the event is outdoors, and Winter rains in LA).
