We really have to consider ourselves lucky to live when we do. The food and establishments here in Los Angeles (and just about everywhere else, really) are growing in availability, origin, diversity, and style at a ridiculous pace. Our ability to obtain foods from afar, a newfound focus on “eating local,” and this food culture rennaissance we’re living in has created a culinary boom. And the resources to discover, track, rate, and share these eating experiences have grown to adapt just as quickly; we have Yelp, Chowhound, and a buffet of blogs to read, just to name some of the more commonly used tools. But out of all those resources, relatively few come from our own community. I decided to go Eatsploring with one of the ones that do: WE eatz.

Food binds and defines communities, and LA’s communities and foods share an especially tight bond. So for my first post, I figured I’d share something that just opened up in my very own neighborhood of Palms: from the fine folks behind Kogi, Chego!
