TN Labs Workshop Series 1.1 | The Zine Zone w/ Mya

Workshop Information

A five-session, bi-weekly, donate-what-you-want workshop series on zine-making w/ TNC Volunteer Co-Coordinator Mya Worrell.

Welcome to this new workshop series from TN Labs! Each session, we’ll get inspired by historical & contemporary zines and learn how to make our very own self-published booklet. All you’ll need is a piece of paper, writing tool, and scissors, but feel free to bring any other art supplies you have on hand. All ages and experience levels are welcome!

Sign-ups are open until May 21:

Facilitator Information

Mya (they/them) is our resident zinester! If they’re not talking about zines, they’re probably talking about the social construction of gender, the mechanics of tabletop roleplaying games, or the visual language of comics.

Accessibility

This workshop series will be hosted on Zoom with automatic captioning. Zoom links, annotated session slides, and zine-making instructions will be provided via email before each session.

Pricing

This is a donate-what-you-want experience. You can attend this series for free, or donate what fits in your budget: $5 per session? $25 per session? (It’s up to you!)

You will be taken to Paypal. Please write "TNP Labs Session 1" in the Paypal notes. Donating will not automatically register you for the event, so make sure you go to Eventbrite and register!
